Born and raised in Colorado, I am a lifelong resident of the Fort Collins area and am proud that I am able to run a business and live here in my hometown. Ever since I can remember, I have been building projects with my hands. Whether it was drawing, sewing, sculpting, painting, or building, I have always had a passion for creating and repairing items.  When I entered my twenties, I decided to move to Portland, Oregon to attend college and I graduated from the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts in 1999 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and Crafts. My mediums of concentration were Fiber Arts and Ceramics.

 

It was quite the boon when I got the opportunity to work at Peterson Canvas as an industrial seamstress. Peterson Canvas was a crucible of learning for me for 13 years. With them I was able to explore the industrial sewing industry and learn the key tricks of the trade to create durable custom covers and other functional textiles. Peterson Canvas provided me with the knowledge, tools, resources, and confidence I needed to start my own business.

 

I started All Covered Custom Sewing, LLC in 2016 with support and encouragement from my spouse, and family. I specialize in one-of-a-kind, outdoor, custom covers, awnings, custom industrial sewing and heavy-duty sewing repairs. I love collaborating with my clients to create the perfect cover to protect their valuables that are stored outdoors. I pride myself in offering top-of-the-line outdoor fabrics and threads that can withstand the harsh elements of Colorado. Quality materials, combined with my 30 + years of experience sewing, help me create quality, long-lasting products. I sew my excellence into every stitch and guarantee my craftsmanship for 2 years.
